REPO/Lend is a platform that will allow exchange members to BUY/SELL Crypto/Fiat or Crypto/Crypto pairings to effectively borrow one asset and give the other as collateral.

The Crypto Swap operates similarly to a fully collateralized “Repurchase Agreement”.
One BUYs and SELLs a Currency pair at the same time on 2 different value dates, the first being today, the second either Tomorrow or any time up to 2 weeks.
This trade is unwound later at a pre-agreed price difference which constitutes an interest payment.

Why use REPO/Lend

An exchange member that possesses inventory of Crypto or Fiat may want to produce yield by lending their inventory to the market. By offering one’s unused balances on XCDE, an anonymous market counterparty could borrow and pay an interest in the form of a “BUY/SELL” price difference.

With a Crypto Swap, counterparties can borrow, lend or rollover their leveraged positions with anonymous counterparties.
With FXCH clearing, risk is mitigated and collateral management simplified.
